Auch im zweiten Halbjahr gibt das Japanische Kulturinstitut einem deutsch‐japanischen Künstlerpaar dieGelegenheit, ihre Kunstwerke, die sie in Zusammenarbeit hergestellt haben, auszustellen.
SUGANO's and HORNDASCH's work is serial in nature. SUGANO deals with memory and creates a unique signsystem of her own. HORNDASCH traces the existent and in the process of rediscovering and reordering visualizesintriguing new interpretations.Both deal of the issue of where things start and where they end. For the JapanFoundation Cologne they will create site‐specific installations, SUGANO concentrating on an extension of thesoap sculpture series, HORNDASCH creating new performance/installation work.
